Not exactly a meal ( although raw vegans will disagree)

But I just had to blog I had a GENUINE TWO THUMBS UP success!!!!!  I shall dazzle you with the nutritional information before I tell you what it is, shall I??!?!

So the Small Human had a minor misfortune this morning.  Suffice to say when blowing bubbles DONT accidentally inhale, cos it HURTS and is horrible.  Soooo I had to come up with a cold smooth lunch that wont hurt more.

ENTER STAGE LEFT......(drum roll please)



STRAWBERRY LASSI !!!!

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 cup rice/almond/soy milk ( unsweetened)

2 tbsp agave ( adults go to 1 tbsp - I just made it sweet so the kids would eat it!)

1 scoop vanilla protein

1/4 banana


(to make it officially you need 1/2 cup of plain or vanilla soy yogurt, but I didnt have any)

BLEND

Sadly i dont have a picture because the little human drank it so fast!  But a 200 calorie lunch for a50lb, 8 yr old that has protein and vitamins is OK with me.  I am calling it a SUCCESS!!!

WOOO HOOOOO, we will call it a LIGHT meal!
