Wednesday and other successes.....

No new recipes were tried today - I had leftovers from last night, and they were EVEN better the 2nd day.  So I thought I would share the other recipes that have worked.  But first, look at this groovy little flow chart I found today!  It made me giggle.


Now onto another happy meal ( as the chef was NOT shot)

Ok it wont let me type directions below the recipe, ( darn technical jiggery pokery - yes that is an official term!)

So you boil the quinoa in the veggie broth, like rice.  Put the carrots in a pan with the 2 oils, cook for about 3 mins, add onions, garlic, other veggies.  When they are almost done splash in the brags.  Add in the cooked quinoa too at the end, Ta da a 1 pan wonder!

The critics, oh I mean my children, gave this one a thumbs in the middle.





Quinoa Veggie Stir Fry

  1. 2 cups baby carrots cut in slices
  2. 1 onion
  3. 1 tbsp coconut oil
  4. 1 tbsp sesame oil
  5. 2 cups snow peas
  6. 1 cups broccoli
  7. 1 clove garlic
  8. salt and pepper to taste
  9. 1 tbsp Brags ( Sodium and gluten free soy sauce)
  10. 1/2 cup quinoa
  11. 1 cup veggie broth
